Hopefully Columbus isnt on that list. They want a forward with term past this season and are willing to trade one of their firsts. For Pommer IMO you could get a first + good prospect at the deadline.

i think pominville is worth more right now. more points last year, more points this year, younger, cheaper, extra year (could help or hurt depending on team)

I'm sorry but if Kyle Quincey and Penner can get a 1st round pick....
Regehr and Stafford can too... - JVince11
Definitely agree about Stafford. People do dumb things all the time at deadline. I wanted to move Stafford before he did his contract. But that was just me. Regahr might not get a first, I think the market has been set for D.

Iggy, had full control over where he went, AKA having Calgary by the balls.
Pommer will get a better return than Iggy. - dadeadhead
Iggy gave 3
Pommer gives 8 he wont trade subtract those form the rest and of the rest who would go for him? I bet that number is somewhere in the neighborhood of 5
Wasn't just meant towards you. The hard on some have for him is insane.
He's an ok player, but is a fringe 2nd liner at best. - dadeadhead
I agree that hes a fringe 2nd liner at best. But I think he'd certainly bolster our depth on the 3rd line. Foligno doesn't hit as much as Ott, but is pretty comparable in almost every other area of the game. Ott makes $133K less and will make more on his next contract.
Hes got an extra year on his contract while Iginla is just a 2 month rental. And it sounds like Iginla limited their options to a couple teams so they couldnt maximize his trade value on the market.
