This will be an unpopular opinion so if you all want I'll leave after this. I think Boyle has been okay tonight. He has won 7 of 15 draws, not great but it seemed that he'd lost every one he'd taken. Also using his body and has made some good plays on the kill. Just my opinion.

Though I'd play Kreider a lot more. He's played fine in my book. Hamrlik on the other hand,

I'll admit, I am certainly not a Boyle fan but I don't think he's been bad this game. No excuse for him seeing PP time though.

He was completely responsible for that first goal by Antropov. I'd rather have Staal playing blind than have Hamirlik in there.

He's been okay. But I don't "okay" playing (frank)ing 12 min when going into the third while one of our best forwards this year is getting half the playing time

Worst thing Boyle ever did was score 21 goals if he was a 3 or 4 center who killed penalties and took face offs we all would be fine with him

I think they wanted a big body in front, lord knows our opponents do it all the time.. Actually liked the move since pp sucks anyway

Agreed 100%. Not only is Hags good at killing penalties, but his speed on the PK always give us a chance to possibly get something going shorthanded.

And as I said with Kreider and to a certain extent Miller, either let the kids play or send them down and have them play top minutes and learn more. What is giving Kreider 8 minutes of ice time doing for his development? Absolutely nothing. Does Torts really think Boyle is more capable of scoring than Kreider? Give me a break. Torts destroying these kids development scares the poop out of me.
