he's frustrated for a few reasons according to the people I spoke to, but the lockout and being 230 lbs didn't help him get off to a fast start... that's for sure

no. i don't think the habs need to avoid the leafs in any capacity. First game of the season was a bad one. The second game --6-0 loss was their worst of the season. They smoked the Leafs in the third game. I don't think they worry about them whatsoever.

that said, I'm impressed with their team, and while everyone's waiting for the wheels to fall off the bus, you have to give them credit for where they are. Kadri and Lupul are playing out of this world, and if a goalie comes in...well, that could make a big difference.

But I don't think the Canadiens would worry at all about playing them in the playoffs.

I think the Habs are playing desperation hockey right now out of fear of playing the Leafs. DESPERATION!!!!

I imagine they will be exhausted come playoff time and be easy pickings for whatever team they play. That team should thank the Leafs.
