look at it from the flip side too though... it was 0-0 in the 3rd perhaps because of the defensive switch to put Hecht at 1C.... Maybe He didn't want to mess that up...

Agreed. Tough to trade a guy making 7 million during the year because of the limited space most contenders have.
That being said, with the caps going down next year, it might be tough to trade him, period.
I think we need to be prepared for the possibility that either Vanek stays, or he gets traded for less than we hoped for.

Yup.... and anyone on here can tell you that a few years ago I was the biggest Miller supporter in the world and still cheer for him when he plays great games like he did last night....
but all of the bullpoop he has pulled in interviews this year and allowing like 4 GAA is just getting old for how big his paycheck is... Enroth makes 900k and plays like that or better for the past 2 months.
I want Miller to be traded...
I would do Miller for Hedman and Garon... maybe throw in a 2nd from them or a mid level prospect.. (TBL are up in arms that they gave 2 2nds for Lindback.. well fine.. they can keep him.. we can have Leggio, Enroth, and Garon finish out this season)

It doesn't make the decision any less piss poor. If you put your top center on the 4th line, you deserve to get shut out. I'm kind of glad it ended that way to be honest.

No idea. I think that the idea of "locker room chemistry" is overrated anyway.
When teams win, nobody cares about or even notices that personality differences that exist in every locker room. When teams lose, those differences get magnified and over-analyzed.
