Every Sabres game is the same.

1. Cannot get the puck out of their own end.
2. When passing out of their own end, the passes are not crisp 75% of the time.
3. They give up the puck just after entering the other teams zone within what seems like 5 seconds.
4. The puck is in the Sabres zone for what seems like 75% of every game.
5. Hardly any sustained offensive pressure.
6. Passing by the entire team is woeful at best.

I've been getting that sense too lately. You never want to make too much out of nothing but it is interesting, he's played through injuries plenty of times before.

Nope, forgot the shorthanded goals against, and the dump and chase without forechecking.

Either way, Grigs passing errs seemed to be more out of fear and overwhelmedness by the speed of the NHL game, where our "pros" bad passes seemed to be as a result of confusion and laziness. I'm glad he won't be around for the rest of the year, because of all the bad influences on the team.

Sadly, other than the two goals, which were pretty much entirely Sekera's fault, it was one of the better defensive efforts the Sabres have put together this season. Yes, it's been that bad for the Swords this year.

look at it from the flip side too though... it was 0-0 in the 3rd perhaps because of the defensive switch to put Hecht at 1C.... Maybe He didn't want to mess that up...
