Nearly half of them have been important goals against. Breaking ties, extending leads, getting the other team back in the game.

If Hodgson cleans up his defensive play, he would go from being a good player to a great player.

As he gets older, I'd love to see him get stronger with his legs and lower body. Hes not that fast, and skating is average at best, but like Jagr, if he develops lower body strength, he can just use that to shield players off the puck. He's already shown glimpses of that when hes been in the corners and fighting for lose pucks.

And yeah, I agree, hes still young. He cleans that up over the next couple years, he will become one of the better players. I've said in the past, I see Hodgson as our new Drury, he's just got to get better defensively.

He has more offensive talent than Drury IMO but I'm picking up what you are putting down
