I would not give up a lot. Maybe somebody like Tye McGinn. But personally, I'm not interested in Clowe.
- MJL

McGinn is going to be a very solid player. Clowe doesn't do anything for me. I'm with you there.

I would trade Syvet for him thats about it.

Clowe is averaging 2:22 a game on the PP.
- MJL

Then that`s sad that he has as many goals as I do.

Yeah. Flyers need some mobile guys who can move the puck. Too many guys who are similar on their blueline. Need a better mix. Right now it's hard to envision getting that type of player.

McGinn was playing well before he got hurt. With Talbot out there is no reason not to let this kid play the rest of the season.

Yea I would be ok with an ej trade

Only problem is, the Avs will try to counterbalance what they lost to the Blues in that original trade... Shattenkirk, Steward and Rattie... they won't be willing to pull the plug on E.J. for a cheap return.

I would also. I was just trying to illustrate that I would not give a lot for a player like Clowe.

That`s exactly the balance that`s missing that the piece Homer needs to get... With a lot of moving players, I`d like to see Homer jump in and get that component to help now and the long term.. No selling this year with the way the injuries have shaken down..It`s fine by me.. I`d like to see us get that...make the playoffs..and arrive in ill humour..

Do you see how well the Flyers are playing defensively now that Gus is back in the lineup. He and Lauridsen have given this team life. Untouchable at this point unless the return is ridiculous.

Jackson says that every game. I really hope the Flyers get a new PbP guy. He has run his course.

My issue with Clowe is simply that he's a poor man's Simmonds or Hartnell.

In four full NHL seasons, he's topped 20 goals twice, came close on two others, to be sure, and he's a gritty, physical dude.

I just get the feeling that he's valued more than he's worth.

Need more speed and playmakers. No more Simmonds & Hartnell types (not that those guys are bad).

If there is a major move, I think it will be Yandle. Otherwise, I think (hope) nothing major until the draft.
