That's what I'm reading into it from the reports.

They have 18M available this year. And they still have 26M available for next year, even after adding Bouwmeester. But they have quite a few players to re-sign.

Once Shattenkirk and Pietrangelo are signed, having J Bo around will make quite the expensive top-3 D.

I'm watching Subban right now have a break down in his game. Serious temper.

I'd be interested but possibly if they added Ian Cole

Oh ok. I have probably read some of his stuff. His name wasn't one I recalled.

I'm sure something in the next two days will happen that will be a head scratcher.

Isles and Rags both with 2 goal leads.

Are you talking about the Blues? I assume this is about Cap space for next year?

I have the same initials as you. Fascinating. (If they are your initials)

Before taking on JBo they had the 2nd lowest payroll in the league. I think they should be able to squeeze just about everyone in next year.

I agree with everything you posted. Only part I am different on is JBo. Thats a lot of cap space to take on for some teams. He is obviously being overpaid. Getting a first rounder and freeing up cap space isn't a bad move imo.
- stveshdy

I hear that, obviously the price was seriously hampered by the cap hit. I just have 0 idea why he didn't hold onto his cards longer if the return was marginal for those two players. I would like to play poker with the guy- I bet he sucks! I think he could have gotten better or at least waited to see. Those are the two biggest guns on the market.

Subban is having a hell of a year. He's been a PPG guy. His only question mark is maturity. That is trending in the right direction. I don't have any doubt that he's going to be a #1. I love his game.

Edit: You talking about Malcolm. Never mind me.

Wish Danny + could net him.

Excited to see him in the big league someday.

I am. But they should just fire Feaster. He sucks. Not a good deal at all for the Flames.
- MJL

Agreed.. didn't get enough for Iggy either.

I guess he could of waited but most GM's have talked to other teams and maybe this was the best offer on the table.

No talking about PK. Guy just pulled a Hartnel

2 bad penalties in a matter of a few minutes.

I'm curious where you all stand with the flyers and why. Do you want them to:

Buy and make a run (likely lose out on top pick).

Stand pat, and not touch anything (could squeeze in, could get last).

Sell and possibly get a good pick.

The #stlblues will move a Dman to make room for Bouwmeester. Including JayBo the Blues have 24 roster players. 9 D-men

obviously, the blues are dissatisfied w/ their d core to some extent, but trading for leopold and JBo seems like a curious overload of puck moving dmen...JBo's a cap space eater as well. maybe shats will be available this summer...
