At some point on Friday Adrian woke up from her coma to tell the flyers in a lethargic whisper to "win".

Are you talking about the spelling of Ryane? That's how it's spelt...
- Rocktane

Huh...I did not know that. Thanks. But at least I knew the tweet was fake.

Sadly Talbot is done for this season. Depending on how bad the break is it'll be 6 - 12 weeks... Which is too bad, he's been very, very good for us. The only bright spot is hopefully this will stop any trade talk floating around him.

Agreed, it was Daymónde, not Raymond with a d.

I always pronounced it like Lamont, but with a D.

At least we can put the "trade Talbot" discussion to rest. Guys like Feds and Knuble should still be dealt, regardless of being 2 points back. They both increased any value they have in a trade by recent play.

With all these injuries to specific players, it might be a blessing in disguise. Briere, Talbot, Coburn, Grossmann, Meszaros were guys being thrown out there in trade scenarios leading up to the TDL. Now Homer can wait until the draft and after to make any sort of roster-altering moves involving any of these guys.

That Bob McKenzie twitter is a fake, btw.

love how the flyers are mentioned first...

Among teams that I believe have at least talked to SJ are Flyers, Wild, Canucks, Habs, Rangers, Bruins... and believe there are more...

Ek reporting it too. I just can't stand the thought of drafting on the 2nd round this year anyway. Clowe and his zero goals make total sense rather than acquiring young talent

Yea he's weird like that, that's why we shouldn't deal for him.

So, 2 points out, no games before the TDL passes. Clowe, Jagr, Bouwmeester will be on our roster for the Habs game, wonderful.

Why is Homer at fault for... err, LeBrun listing the Flyers first?

The letters fall nicely on the fingers while they are in home row on the keyboard. I blame Snider for that more than anyone.

The Giroux turnover from ragging the puck kind of sums up a lot of the team's problems this year. He was trying to do too much instead of dumping the puck in deep. The simple play. On the flip side, I was happy to see the team (and Giroux)show character and not lay down for the loss. About time they showed some fight. Actually made me happy to watch a weekend of games for the first time in a long time.

I didn't mind Kent Huskins yesterday at all. If we can get Grossman back and sit Lauridsen our blue-line will be slightly less laughable.

I didn't even see Kent Huskins play yesterday and I already like him and Lauridsen more than Kurtis Foster.

It'll be interesting to see what the Flyers do over the next couple of days. Homer has been nothing but aggressive his entire time as GM, so I hardly expect him to sit back and do nothing.

In the meantime, Gagne can pick up some of Talbot's PK minutes, and maybe McGinn is back in the lineup on Wednesday. But, I also wouldn't be surprised if Homer didn't inquire the asking price for Jagr ... and also looks to acquire another low cost (free) D man like Huskins.

They've played better team defense of late. If they continue to do that they certainly have a legit shot of getting that 8th spot.

Dependent on the price, of course?
