WOW...I must say I am shocked with Vancouver Management's lack of desire to win a championship. They have 2 goalies that are of equal quality (today at least) but won't trade the one that will get them the greater return?
I guess keeping an eye on the future is smart...I just thought they would retool and go for it this year.

I don't disagree with you... the organization (and to a point Luongo) feel that his time here is up. But I completely agree that CS is getting a much better return.. and over a short period of time.. 3-4 years.. where Canucks have the best opportunity to win.. there isn't a huge gap in terms of skill between the two.

I think Lu will bring more than what other fan bases are saying (Toronto fans in particular).. and less than what Canucks fans are saying. It will be a fair deal overall for both sides.. and won't leave anyone feelings dirty.

On a more serious note, Zeppelin still rocks. I might be old but no band today comes close to their perfection.

If gillis does this again I will denounce being a fan of the Vancouver Canucks!!! Last year when hogsheads was dealt I was driving on the highway and almost got into an accident after listening to the news and if he trades away Jensen who is our top top 6 prospect i will be a fan of another team.

Those deals are 10x better than the crap on other blogs... including this one. At least they make a tiny bit of sense.. maybe a tweak here and there but I thought overall they were realistic. The Boyes one was probably giving up too much.. I don't know enough bout Sustr.. but Garon isn't worth much.

Sustr is the six foot eight, right handed defender that up to 20 teams were just chasing out of college. He signed with the Lightning last week. The Canucks were in on him too. There's no way Yzerman deals him after signing him like that, and especially not for another bottom-six winger, an AHL defender and a sixth round pick. Then you want us to throw in our backup goalie too (with Lindback injured he's our #1 right now)?
