as for rielly

as of right now he would be, at BEST 3rd on the PMD depth chart

liles
gardiner (who isnt even playing regularly himself)
then rielly

if carlyle is still around.. dont expect rielly to make the jump until after at least one year of pro

- Dozzer

Agreed..he plays in junior next year and the following yr with Marlies..

Niskanen and Neal for Goligoski... they've been stupid before...
- lumlums

Goligoski's not even that bad of a Dman, but they certainly lost that deal

Malkin can do wonderful things. It's part of the reason they have had interest in Kulemin.

- AngryWhiteMale

Kipper still got the start tonite. I'm taking that as a good sign.
- D.Lemieux

Not to be rude to Kipper but I hope he gets injured tonight so he can't be traded.

They're up against an Oilers team fighting for a playoff spot, and has seen all his long-time teammates on their way out.

Surely he just doesn't care anymore about CGY

In fairness, the first two were unstoppable, and the defense apparently followed JBo to St Louis...

Why do you think the Penguins want Kulemin? Take a 15 goal, 2.5 million dollar player and put him with Malkin to turn him into a 30 goal player. Dupuis and Kunitz. Same story. Neal has plenty of talent but Malkin made him a 40 goal scorer.

They don't need spectacular wingers with centremen like that.

Don't get me wrong, Kunitz is a good hockey player, but his numbers are inflated, foxy by proxy

Neal was on that crazy line in DAL with Eriksson and Brad Richards, those guys almost won me my pool that year

well a deal better be damn near final if thats the case...

tho in fairness that dressing room has been turned upside down in recent days.. guys in calgary gotta be wondering if they're on the block collectively. not a good environment all around i would guess

I think it would take way more

The pick would have 2 be a first

Like a 1st, 2nd, blacker and a roster player

- The_Vark

for Kipper?

Maybe a 1st... maybe.

nothing else.

2nd and a B prospect reasonable right now.

ok, i will play

Nylund: played over 600 games with 171 points and over 1200 PIM

Richardson: really? well ok.i guess over 1200GP isnt impressive enough for ya, another tough gritty d-man

Thornton: nearly 1000GP, the guy carved a role as a bottom 6 checking forward. not sure how thats a bad thing

Pearson? which one? lol doesnt matter.. i'll give you this one

Berehowsky: was not drafted in the 80s

now lets bring up the a couple other names you didnt mention:

Iafrate
Damphousse

Listening to Nonis, it sounds like he is a really smart guy.

Only gonna make a move if it makes sense, and won't sell the farm.
