The one thing I will say that Cherry missed on the whole Kadri situation is that Naz of two years ago wouldn't have helped the team, and there was no point dropping him into a situation where he was set up for failure. develop the player properly, you have to in toronto.. its a f'n fishbowl.. the marlies are a good place to get not only crucial grooming as players, but as guys who have to speak with the media

I think a lot of it has to do with speaking to him and gauging how interested he would be in playing in Toronto in the first place.

Maybe Nonis would be willing to consider a 1 year deal, but it still would have to be held under the pretext that he wouldn't be playing the next few seasons at the 70 game rate he was before, and his salary would correspond with that, as Reimer is obviously going to be given every chance to win the starters job.

I agree, as long as DAL doesn't want anything stupid for him, he's worth a look.

Given that they have lost Ribeiro and potentially are losing Roy, I'd almost be tempted to pitch them a Grabo for Robidas + deal.

Even if he blows the coaches away next year he needs another full year in junior, with a WJC appearance and Marlis playoff work

I could see him in here from the 2014 season as he clearly has the talent, and seems like he has his head on his shoulders.... but you don't do it unless you can put them in a successful environment, especially when you have a guy like Eakins coaching in the AHL.

Hard to say how much they value Eriksson in DAL(Nieuwendyk). They may be happy with a 2nd rounder and a prospect.

Plus if they have no intention of resigning Roy, they can use Grabs as their second line centre and trade roy for a pick as well.
