This is the most success we've had developing goalies since nineteen (frank)ing ninety one, and we're about to blow it for a washed up, uninterested, damaged goalie.

Im okay with Luongo on the Leafs too. Im also okay with Komisarek. What I am not okay with is the cap hit all three of these players bring into next season..and in some cases...beyond.

what you need is to flip the tv over to TSN and watch/listen to the big Norway v. Finland curling match. Their voices and clothing will get you laughing. Hurry hard doesn't translate well in Norwegian.

He was also injured this year, has a cap hit that ranks among the top of all NHL goalies, and is sporting a sv% that makes Gustavsson look like a Vezina candidate.

This man's entering an olympic campaign, and is probably really pining for the chance to represent Finland again. I think he's really thrive in a (for the time being) winning environment.

I've had Grabs in my doghouse all season so I figure he won't be around for the full length of his contract anyway

Then we'd better find a buyer for Scrivens ASAP, or he's on waivers and starting in goal for the Florida Panthers.

The deal boils down to whatever we pay + Scrivens + Reimer for Kipper.

I couldn't really care less about the 2nd or 3rd rounder, but it sucks that we're basically throwing the Reimer/Scrivens duo under the bus.

Reimer will look pretty damn good shutting us down while playing for the Buffalo Sabres or some other rival one day...

I'm still trying to get my head around a 100pt Kessel.

If they got Kipper cheap and didn't have to extend him then it makes some sense. Can they not keep 3 goalies on the roster to protect Scrivens from waivers?
