exactly, and i mean i've watched him play and he's much better than his production. Maybe a 3rd or 4th rounder. Maybe a 5th and mid level prospect

He's a center, but watching this game right now looks like he's playing on the wing for the Rangers. Either way, he's a winner and adds toughness and ability to crash the net and actually score, while being somewhat capable in both ends of the ice. 1.7 million dollar contract so that's decent value.

Of course Reimer gets kicked in the groin if the Leafs get Lu or Kipper or Miller or any other veteran #1 goalie. Reimer has played great this season. He deserves to continue to be the #1 goalie on this team, he deserves to be the starter for the playoffs. By getting one of the above mentioned, your pulling the plug on Reim as the #1 & sticking him at the end of the bench for the rest of the season & playoffs. He deserves to be treated better & he deserves to be rewarded not punsihed.

Yes the other bad thing to the Leafs getting abother goalie, is yes they will either lose Scrivens in a trade or on waivers. He has played great this season too.

Haven't seen that anywhere, either way I would be way happier with a Reimer Kipoer duo over Reimer Scrivens. He plays on the most pathetic team in the west. If the trade happens for something like a 2nd why is that such a terrible idea? Cap hit does suck though.

I seriously hope they don't trade for Kiprusoff. It's debatable whether he's even better than Scrivens right now, but for the future this is a horrible trade. For all we know Scrivens could turn out to be a better goalie than Reimer... I'd much rather keep both. The idea of the Leafs trading for a veteran goalie makes it sound like they're going to make a deep playoff run or something. I don't see the big deal in letting the two young guys go in the playoffs. Just making the playoffs this season is an accomplishment. Let them get experience and build on it next season.

I think Reimer is developing nicely. He's still young, I think a few years younger than Scrivens. He will be solid #1 if we keep with him. Either way, were going to the playoffs
