I don't know, Dreger has really been on Kippers balls for a while now.

Kipper has been playing horribly but might be because of the wife and kid plus plaing for a poop team

If Reimer and Scrivens were losing us games and he didn't have that contract and we didnt have to give the Canucks assets...yea it might have been great. Too many reasons not to bother.

AGREED...........AGREED............AGREED. I told guys at work today "FUK LU, FUK Kippersoff & FUK J-BO". When Gillis or Feaster call Nonis on Wednesday, Nonis should just say to them "SORRY U WING A WONG NUMBA".

Yes. Having said that, top 4 dmen are at a premium right now. Two seconds for Doug Murray.....

Yeah exactly, it's what we are missing, however we wont necessarily overpay for one. If im Nonis, im looking at maybe a lower level dman... maybe Sarich? Could be needed if we get into a long playoff series.

As much as his numbers have been bad, new system, new start might help him, he has until this year pretty much been a top flight goalie. Might be good as a mentor for Reimer in that capacity as a split-starter. You never know these days. Maybe there's a bigger deal like one of Giordano/Jay Blow and Kipper for Mac and prospects and picks?

Two birds one stone as it were.

From all accounts, many of the former Calgary guys weren't keen on Dion... what are the chances they would come here of their own accord and let him be their captain?

That's because Dion banged out Conroy's wife. Then Jarome kicked him off the team.
