hes a powerforward in the mold of lucic. must you criticize everything? Biggs had 53 points in 60 games with Oshawa this year. Lucic in his final year in the WHL had 68 in 70. biggs is 6'3 224lb, lucic 6'4 220lb. very comparable. If they didnt have the 10 fight rule in the OHL, Biggs Pims would be a lot higher. the games I have watched him play he has been throwing the body.

Ok, in his last 79 gp he has 25 goals and 22 assists, better?

Seriously, don't waste my time by twisting my words or by talking to me about sample sizes. I have no patience for it anymore.....not from you or anyone. Is JVR a powerforward, no. Is he a big forward producing better numbers than he was at 22, yes. Is there a window for him to get better and mature? Yes. So what's the problem? He's got one point in 7 gp, that's concerning, I agree, but overall, if I was grading him on this season, I'd say he's doing what I hoped and better than I expected. Most of the Leafs are save for Grabovski and Gardiner. And JVR's got time to get better, which is what the whole concept of going young is all about.

That was a great team, and a great #1 line, I thought Repik would turn out to be a great player. Cody Franson and Jonathan Blum were awesome too for that team.

If you're expecting Biggs to be like Lucic, expect to be disappointed.

He was a definite monster in that tournament. I can't recall if he was captain, Blum was the captain after Lucic et all left. It was great team.

I have to say though, I'm really really shocked about Repik never clicking in the NHL, or Blum taking so long to click in the NHL, yet Lucic made the jump. Show's a lot can happen from the age of 18-20.
