ya I meant 5-10 more right now this season.

a 25-30G, PPG center makes Kessel push 100pts IMO

- Big_Lightnin

Kessel was 40 points shy of 100 when he played with Savard.

I just don't see Grabo being a setup man. Imagine having a line like the Alfredson/Spezza/Heatley line...not saying it's exactly comparable, but sure did give other teams a handful.
- ThePresident

Kessel's a better playmaker than Heatley.

watching the way Kessel's playing this year, Grabo would be a great fit. He's got sniping ability and a decent 1-timer, but he can also set up.

Now's not the time maybe, but I want to see it.

Anyone see the article on sportsnet saying outright that Louon8o would not waive his ntc to come to Toronto, and deal was agreed upon. That pretty well ends the Burke saved the Leafs junk.
- Leafland

He said no to waive which was before, because people were telling him that florida wanted to trade for him, thats why he said no. If he knew that florida was not in it, he would of accepted the deal to the leafs

Better today or better than when Heatley was at his best? Because when Heatley was at his best, he was recording 40-50 assists per year on a regular basis. Kessel has done it once.

Kessel would have 5-10 more right now if not for Bozak?

and look back at goals he's scored against Boston (won't take long). always against Seidenberg

If we are leaving Kessell JVR together you really only need Bozak and if you trade him then McClement can play and win draws for them. I don't see them needing a big stud centre and none are available - obvious if we had Getzlaf or some big playmaker but to throw Kadri or Grabo on that line just diminishes the line you are taking them off.

Sorry about caps and spelling - frankn Ipad sucks for this stuff

Well that could possibly be true, but i don't blame that on Bozak. Kessel is to blame for not scoring. He gets lots of chances, he just doesn't finish.

Spezza scores when he has an open net otherwise he's notorious for not shooting. Heatley gave him plenty of open nets.

Never said that.

Not saying Bozak is amazing but do you know how many guys scored 100 points the past two years? One per year. Kessel is not a 100 point player even with a better center unless that center is Malkin or Crosby.

Sad thing about Spezza is that he actually has a really effective shot

that's probably why I said he would push 100 pts, and in another I said 90+.

and the Bozak is better than Savard thing I was just doing what you love to do so much

A really good slap shot that he seems to use only when he's pissed off that nobody is open.

Chara-Seids is too good of a combo they only use it in the playoffs if ever. They need to spread the depth. I thought it was interesting the past two games they were playing Chara on Kadri outside of the PP.

Also i know, I just wanted to check and post Kessel's stats on the B's...holy (frank) they are quite appalling

Yes and the sens had a chance to win cups but they were too Euro for the playoffs - they were stacked up and down I believe - I'm too lazy to go back and look
