I think that they acquired them in the Chara trade...?

No way those Wires are CSA certified. One is a 3 prong with the Ground broken Off to fit into the Two Hole Cord. Ok Enough

the minute Kadri learns to take faceoffs, Bozak is obsolete.

but McLCement's taking more D-zone faceoffs lately - could be they are getting used to not having Bozak?

- Big_Lightnin

Kadri is playing great with Lupul. Why change that?

Agreed on the name calling but how am I coming across arrogant? I'm just stating what I see as fact.
- honesthockey

name calling IS arrogant

anyways, it wasnt bad enough to deserve a ban.. just getting close.. so i thought i would put it out there and curb what was starting to happen

sorry if i seem up tight about poop.. but modding this site nearing deadline day can get pretty damn frustrating if you dont stop something before it starts.. so in a case like this.. just consider it pre-emptive.

He's not going to learn defense sitting in the press box... and they're not going to put him on the waiver wire to send him back down the the Marlies.

Play him or trade him.

- Feeling Glucky?

Good 3 days of practice this week, I'm sure RC will be hammering into his brain when he should jump and when he should stay at home. Not going to trade him, he's young lets show some patience.

Is it a fact that Kessel has had 2 career years with Bozak as his center? Is it a fact that Bozak sit's at number 2 in icetime behind Phaneuf?
- honesthockey

Is it a fact that with Lupul, Kessel was an 80 point player, without Lupul he was a 60 point player?

All these dross for gold trade proposals are seriously (frank)ing annoying.

Got it Dozzer. You no I don't always have the same opinion as some. I called Gardiner immediately bc I thought last year he was horrific in his own end and hasn't adjusted one thing.

The first is a fact. However I think that most agree that Kessel has the potential for higher numbers with a more skilled number one centre.

The second is not a fact, Bozak sits at 5 behind Phaneuf, Kostka, Gunnarson and Gardiner (when playing). This is due to the fact that he is playing the role of a third line centre (Pk, defensive asisgnments) as well as riding with Kessel on the first line. Don't get me wrong, I like Bozak, and would love him to stay, but the idea that he is a number one centre by the numbers seems to me (and others it seems) like a bit of a stretch.

I vaguely remember someone complaining about Gardiner, so I'll vouch for you.

I meant going forward, obviously you sit him from time to time if he's not playing well, but don't leave him in the box for 10 games or something like that

Guy's gotta get some playing time in.

Fact. Was it a fact that in the last 5 games was Kessel an 82 point player?

Random question: With the leafs looking like they will make the playoffs, does that make you wish Burke was back considerign he built this team and not Nonis? Or has Nonis made any little moves that pushed them into a playoff team. I was just thinking how Burke has to be like wtf I built that team and they are going to the playoffs now.
- mrhattrick27

I never wanted him gone to begin with. But I'm pretty confident in nonis, he had a big role in some of the trades the leafs made under Burke.

See I don't think Kessel is a top 6 NHL scorer. Period.

Excuse me. Total on ice Bozak is 2.

Just Curious, Why trade Grabo for Lou? They have no backup so there goes Scrivens (Not a Big Deal) but why Grabo and not Bozak??

well, if they sit him 2 weeks, they could justify a conditioning stint with Marlies
