As of right now, all of those picks belong to playoff-bound teams.

Media's been all over the map on this but I "think" a NMC requires the signing of a waiver which negates the No move. The NTC must work different ....allowing a player to waive it situationally.

As a grad student/TA this doesn't surprise me at all. I'm used to dealing with hundreds of people paying thousands of dollars for an education, and get questions like "Duuuuuuh, am I supposed to remember this from high school...???"

As far as I know, if a player has an NMC/NTC that hasn't come into effect at the time of the trade, the new team can chose whether or not to honor it.


If the player has an NMC/NTC at the time of the trade, however, it stays in place, even if he waives it for the deal.

Depends what they want. It wont be an easy trade to make, but id be all over it looking to see what they're interested in.

why not MacA and a pick for the 1st if they say no? kind of like what buffalo did with gaustad to get the 1st from nashville
