Sat night
Kadri 15:36
Lupul 16: 13
JVR 18:33 - D.Lemieux
Numbers are skewed due to alot of penalties that game. Also, Kadri and Lupul didn't see much ice time after the 4th goal. RC was protecting them from the Sens who were out looking for trouble after that point.
Some other guys in the point per game or better range like Kadri and Lupul.
JT 21:00
St Louis 22:00
Kane 20:00
What do you think Caryles rationale is here.?
At this point should Lupul and Kadri not be out there 2- 3 mins more per game? - D.Lemieux

Lupul's are low cause he's only played 9 games, and the game he broke his arm he only played 9 mins. Last game Carlyle rolled 4 lines last 8-9 mins,. Plus he got a bit less his 1st 2 games back to ease him in.
Kadri's been averaging 18 mins since his 1st hat trick. He doesn't kill penalties, so be tough to get him much more than that
Kessel has only been over 20 mins twice in last 8 games. Under 18 mins 4 times

''The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed European late bloomer Loof Lipra to a 7 year 65 million dollar contract. The 37 year old Finnish born power forward comes in at 5'4 137lbs only began skating 11 short months ago. He has become the talk of the Finnish rec leagues. after amassing 12 points in 6 games in the Flonkerton triple d league. After that performance he began to garner a lot of attention around Europe and North America. And it appears now that it is indeed the Leafs who have won the Lipra lotto'' ROUTERS - Gusto
Practicing with the team and playing/watching/experiencing a playoff drive. He's fine. - The Law
and getting paid 10 times what he would be in AHL, so he's also happy.
That's a huge issue people seem to forget about with these guys. He would MUCH rather sit in pressbox and make more in a month than he makes all year in AHL.

I thought general rule was once an NTC was waived, that's it. Player is traded to a team the clause is no longer valid? no? or was that just a stipulation in Carter's? - Big_Lightnin
This is true but i beleive buffalo agreed to keep it in place for him agreeing to come to buffalo.

Seriously, Leafs fans are doing the same thing with Gardiner that you did with Kadri. Putting way too much pressure on him, he'll find his game. - celata29
oh he will get there no doubt.. but people in leafland are way to quick to suggest rushing prospects
rielly for example.. some here think he should be in the NHL next season.. thats just (frank)ing absurd honestly

I think the Leafs are looking at Luongo for a 5 year plan. They eat the remaining years, I believe its 1.75 million per year. With the Cap expected to be around 80 million by then its roughly 2%. - faceto27
As @DarrenDreger tweeted earlier, I'm also hearing Jamie McBain is available in Carolina... has one more season on his deal at $1.9 M - faceto27
Wait a second... a D-man who can just gobble up 18 minutes per night and score 30 points... does this mean that Gillis is gonna give him $27m over 6 years???
