hmm - team does have to show cause. Though, sitting in press box for 2 weeks would be cause for not being in game shape, theoretically.

Can't find anything on limits - but presumably, you would have to show cause as to why he needs another conditioning stint - ie sitting out extended periods again.

I thought general rule was once an NTC was waived, that's it. Player is traded to a team the clause is no longer valid? no? or was that just a stipulation in Carter's?

Seriously, Leafs fans are doing the same thing with Gardiner that you did with Kadri. Putting way too much pressure on him, he'll find his game.

I thought it was as you said too. The reporter probably doesn't realize that. We are more informed.

I'm more concerned about the roster spot he is taking up here right now. If we are going to be afraid to use him for the stretch drive and playoffs, it would be nice to have a veteran defensemen ready to go.

I don't think he's being scratched indefinitely. Just for a couple games to get perspective again.

I think he'll be back in on Thursday - 3 solid days of practice ahead.

Lupul's low because of game misconducts and injuries ...he gets big minutes.

Kadri has gone from 12ish ....to 15ish ....now up to 18ish I think. It's working.
