If you knew the truth that is life you would know that labelling something let alone some one that contains life (life is infinite, ever expanding and full of potential that changes with each and every moment with its alignment with different energies), maybe you'd find yourself enlightened on the probability that is all things possible. Maybe you'd come to the realization that i'm not a douche, and that what had taken place was a conversation that was responded too incorrectly, as the brain is driven by the ego which only sees in a separative form and perspective, which allows for people to make mistakes and misunderstand eachother. I had thought he said our team those years weren't any good anyway, as i didn't even read further back into their conversation. Its like anything in life, we see the outer layer and we label it with perspective. So basically your label of me being a douche, is no different than how i assessed his conversation with whoever he was talking to. With distorted perspective based on your inability to read back as well. Pretty hypocritical with that one, but hey, we all make mistakes.

So i clearly misread what you said, as i thought you were insisting the Leafs didn't have a contender in the year you mentioned. Personally i thought we were solid contenders for a good 5 years, from the year Valk scored the winner against pittsburgh that led us to an unstoppable hasek in the ecf, to the year we lost to an underdog hurricanes team in the ecf (beat NYI and Ottawa before that series i believe), to the years we lost to Philly after previously beating them (when we had cujo). So for that i am sorry.

Doesn't matter. Eakins said Gardiner is ready for the big leagues. He'll play a full season next year. The only question is the balance of this year and he's not losing any real development by being with the Leafs for the next month or so.

Well, that I'm not sure..... But There probably is something about doing something like that.

Doesn't matter. Eakins said Gardiner is ready for the big leagues. He'll play a full season next year. The only question is the balance of this year and he's not losing any real development by being with the Leafs for the next month or so.

I'm more concerned about the roster spot he is taking up here right now. If we are going to be afraid to use him for the stretch drive and playoffs, it would be nice to have a veteran defensemen ready to go.
