Ribeiro would be an awesome pick up for the Leafs, give you a true number 1 center.

Leading contenders for Clowe, IMO, would be PHI or MIN but it's fluid situation. NYR, VAN, MTL also in mix. 50-50 it happens toda

Dozzer is just going to snap and ban the guy for being an annoying douche. Hopefully it happens after I come back from blazing one. Someone stall for 15 minutes.

Lol thanks for taking the time out of your day to label me. If you knew the truth that is life you would know that labelling something let alone some one that contains life (life is infinite, ever expanding and full of potential that changes with each and every moment with its alignment with different energies), maybe you'd find yourself enlightened on the probability that is all things possible. Maybe you'd come to the realization that i'm not a douche, and that what had taken place was a conversation that was responded too incorrectly, as the brain is driven by the ego which only sees in a separative form and perspective, which allows for people to make mistakes and misunderstand eachother. I had thought he said our team those years weren't any good anyway, as i didn't even read further back into their conversation. Its like anything in life, we see the outer layer and we label it with perspective. So basically your label of me being a douche, is no different than how i assessed his conversation with whoever he was talking to. With distorted perspective based on your inability to read back as well. Pretty hypocritical with that one, but hey, we all make mistakes.

Flyers are like the Leafs ...every player is rumoured to be going there at some point.

They'd probably have to finish 9-4 to even have a chance at the playoffs.

Back to the Leafs ...a vet dman like Robidas and a depth forward like Smithson. Done.

Having Couturier in my keeper pool two years now, I can honestly say hes been a huge disappointment.

He really is playing horrible and im considering dropping him because nobody will trade for him and he's quite useless.

Not saying Couturier will never be a solid player or star in this league, but hes been a major disappointment and I think hes over rated these days. Still young, but is showing little to make me feel he'll be anywhere close to a PPG. Even his PK is in the poop pan lately.

Major disappointment? how much production is expected of a guy who is young enough to be still playing in the Q?

In the midst of all this Clowe trade talk, consider this: Martin Brodeur has more goals than Clowe this season (1-0). Just sayin

Yup, our impatience (fans and media) may have screwed this up. I wonder if they may look at what they can get for him now???. He can't ride the pine for the rest of the season, doesn't help his development. I wonder, if they can get a good forward prospect, or along with Mac, a D that can play now, if they pull the trigger??

I thought his recall was overblown. He has things to learn and it's clear to all now. However, practicing with the Leafs and watching a playoff drive/games is probably a very good part of his development too. Being the 6th/7th guy for the next month (or three) isn't a bad thing. Like Kadri ..I can't argue with how they've handled him at all.
