I just vomited.
- Leafland

We overrate Gardiner, and his defense is horrendous lolll. If he converted back to being a forward, danggg.

I'm not forcing that deal. This is all with the assumption that we already have Lu and we dont' need Reimer.
I think it will take more than Gunner and Frattin to get Robidas and Roy so I added a goalie we probably won't need.

We need a Rt Dman to play with Dion and for a few years... considering our only good natural Rt Dman is Franson. From my understanding most ppl want Dion on the Left side where we already have Gunner, Liles, Gardiner, Fraser and most importantly Reilly.

Kuliman Kadri Lupul
JVR Roy Kessel

Phanuef Robidas
Kostka Liles

Lu

- HipHopisDead

so going with your longer range logic... shouldn't the Leafs be trying to deal Liles or Gunnarson?

is Derek Morris out of Phoenix an option?

Actually i've lived in Vancouver my whole life. It was the story where i lived aswell. We were atop the top 5 (minus a couple years) teams in the league since 99.
- Rysko81

(frank) man.. go look it up

they finished 5th in the conference, and lost in the first round

honestly? they werent even upset when they lost.. cause the team that beat them (philly) finished 4th

I'll take robidas too, but Bozak and Reimer out and Lou in is trash.

If Semin is worth 7, I dunno what Ribeiro would want....
- Bigzby

the mistake that was made with Semin was simple... more than one year contract.

Ribero will bust his hump for the remainder of this season, and sign a contract - the retire on the job - resume diving so he can sleep on the ice.

Perfect fit for the Canucks really.

Kadri is our #1 center, and will be for years to come. Ribeiro would make a very solid 1b for Kessels line though. (Yes, Kessels line is the 2nd line). =)
- Rysko81

I think we need to temper our expectations a little bit: Kadri's playing great in his break-out year, but Lupul's shooting percentage has been at 40% for March and is obviously not sustainable. Remember Kulemin coming back down to earth after the "legit powerforward sniper" days?

Plus, he only took 7 draws on Saturday night he was so bad at the dot; McClement did all the heavy lifting for him in the defensive zone.

I really like Kadri and think he's going to be a solid top 6 forward for us, but he's been playing sheltered minutes while teams split effort shutting down Kessel's line and his, while Grabs has been taking on shutdown duties against the opposition.

At the end of the day, it's us rolling and working our 3 (sometimes 4) lines that are giving us success, not just Kadri; lets just hope Kessel and JVR pick up the slack when Lupul/Kadri come back down to earth or get full attention in the playoffs (<-- I said it!)

Really??

Robidas eats up 22 mins..very sound defensively.. blocks tons of shots.

Finn was a second rounder. so you think a 2nd and a 4th is WAY too much?

- D.Lemieux

I thought that was for Lou...... But if yeah it's probably too high. Just give them pick.

Ok well uh, i just looked it up and the Leafs were 4th in the conference. More points than Philly but Philly won their division so they were third. Not to mention they beat us after we beat Ottawa. Don't cry at me then state things that are wrong. LOL.

Unless Vancouver takes a bag of pucks.. Lou isn't coming to Toronto. Van is in a really bad positiion there. What do their 2 goalies make together 9 - 10 million ?? on a 64 million cap next year. Wow.

I actually think Gillis has zero offers for him. All this talk is trying to create any kind of an offer at all.
