jbo is awful and his contract is worse. If I'm nonis, all I do is tinker - add bit players that have playoff experience since we are still young. I think adding a vet D and a backup goalie who's contract expires (so scrivens can go on another deep run with the marlies) is all nonis should be looking for. I think our team is heading in the right direction and unless you move a d for robidas, I don't want him as he would be taking someone's spot for next year, like frazier.

If Reimer and Scrivens were losing us games and he didn't have that contract and we didnt have to give the Canucks assets...yea it might have been great. Too many reasons not to bother.

For now. But not much of one going by the stats this season. Plus we hurt ourselves with the players we would have to give up. Like him or not, it wouldnt be easy replacing Bozak and whatever else we'd have to throw in.

if you guys ate some contract and got it so the cap hit was down to 4-5 mil you MIGHT be able to get a first, but from a leafs standpoint i still wouldnt do it. id trade a 2nd plus a prospect for him if you guys took komis contract back.

Should be looking for a long term deal. Something like Jake Gardiner and our first, to the Islanders for Ryan Strome and their first rounder. They may also want to dangle Clarke MacArthur out there, if it'll get them another top 4 defenceman.

Maybe a 3rd rounder for the rights to Steven Weise. He could be back by the playoffs and maybe could be signed for next year. Tyler Bozak then becomes an option to trade.
