I don't think Reimer will turn out to be an elite goalie and we may have to acquire one at one point. This is not the time to go get one since there don't seem to be any that make sense available.

Kadri is 6th in league scoring, he aint going any where for a LONG time!

I'd love to trade for Clowe, and sign Clarkson this summer.

I dont hate Bozak like many here do. Its not his fault he is in a role that he doesn't belong in. He plays hard, shows up most every night, chips in offensively. Great for the 2nd or 3rd line.

Thats my point, I don't see how they will ever get a #1 center without gutting other key positions...I'd rather run with Bozak and trade for another legit #2 (Hanzel, B.Schenn, Zajac) and hope for the best...

How has Robidas been playing? He is 36? How much left does he have?

i think he would be a nice fit on a team whose d-corps have very little experience

for example... when liles was out of the lineup phaneuf had almost as many GP as the rest of the defensman added together.

thats pretty green.

robidas.. even with his best days behind him would make perfect sense.

Why is JT worth Kadri+1st and OV is worth KAdri +2x1st?

and robidas.. thats the first reasonable rumoured acquisition i have heard about this year i think

Sure, Kessel and a first does not get you Tavaras though and I am not willing to pay the price that it would cost.

I'm thinking Grabovski and a 2nd could net you J-BO, who would like great next to Phaneuf.

Yea, but Dozzer. At least then it wasn't as bad. We were actually among the leagues best teams, and had a legit shot at the Cup with no salary cap to speak of.

Hey, I was not not serious... just speculating...

I think the leafs need to stay the course, make NO moves the next 2 days and just see what happens...

U can bet there 8-10 teams interested in Robidas..Given what D-men have been traded for so far i say it would cost u a 1st round pick..
