No I'm not kidding you, did you really watch the game?

We got out of the zone pretty easy. We didnt have back to back to back shifts of the other team pressuring in our zone and peppering the goalie with shots. We had some quality chances that Khudobin just came up big on. We didnt take any penalties that lead to them having a power play.

Its not all gloom and doom. The Sabres did not have a bad game.

If Pommer gets moved by Wednesday (and he should be), I say you don't give out a C to anyone. Use the As. Make someone really step up and grab a hold of the leadership role on this team. No more of this, "Well, this is the best we've got" poop.

As far as a good defensive game goes, this was about as good as it gets. That is until Sekera screwed the pooch twice.

I think he should have an A, but I wouldn't give him the C. That won't sit well with some of the refs and stuff. He's a good guy to have in the mix in some way though. That I won't deny. But they need to get one of the young guys to grab a hold of it with some guidance from the vets.

You can't play a complete game or close to it if you cant put the puck in the back of the net. You have to score to win. Its a pretty simple concept.
