Sucks they gave up JVR. He had the blend of size and skill that we are missing up front. Hartnell could provide that to a degree if he can get his head out of his anus.


You have to keep in mind, the JVR for Schenn trade made a lot of sense in the context of the situation. They were scoring at will an had a solid defensive corps. With carle gone, Pronger not returning, and missing on weber and Suter, Schenn gets bumped up the list of guys that need to carry the defense instead of being a solid addition.

Like the addition of Schenn, but wish we could have hung onto JVR.

I believe the Union College game is on ESPNU at 6:30. I might have to switch between both games. I thought Ghost played very well against BC last night. I'm looking forward to seeing him play again, he seems to be a very intriguing prospect.
