Clutterbuck, Ott and Kaleta on the same team - The_Inkwell
I would love it, plus Clutterbuck only gets a little over a million per year. Salary is why a lot of teams aren't wanting a Staff infection though. Two more years at 4 million.
I would be so happy to have Clutterbuck we would just beat the hell out of people all game. |

Considering what the team went through to land RR I can see a first round pick... he is PERFECT for a team to add during the rugged playoff stretch

I hope so but like I said before, how do you tell a group of guys to tank for the future when it's VERY unlikely they'll even participate in it? You're telling them to be miserable for a season for a "glorious future" that they won't be a part of... - LetsGoBuffalo75

Yeah somebody mentioned him going to the Wild, I think LA makes more sense. I would be happy with Toffoli or Muzzin and a late pick |

I think if we could land toffoli, we wouldnt get anything else in the trade, since Reghar is just a rental. |

yeah i would think if we could nail down 2 - 1sts and 2 - 2nds and get a prospect we'll have a good trade deadline. if they sabres are truly in a controlled demolition/accelerated rebuild mode then pominville will get traded for a great prospect or younger roster player. if we really want to go HAM on the trade deadline and say "screw traditional rebuilds, etc" then we'll trade miller too and all bets are off.
stafford being traded depends on what they want back and how much faith they have in him and I really think it's independent of the above stuff. i'd like to see him gone but i could see it making sense waiting for the right deal for him. okposo is imo the same as staff basically but maybe with a little more upside and if you don't feel that deal can help, you pull away from it and wait for something you do like. |

At least he got a 2nd for Leopold, think he could've done better than a conditional 5th for the second pick though. - theblueandgold
I think it was a good deal for both teams.Leos never been know for his D its his shot at the point and his ability to move the puck.He hasnt been the biggest problem on D this year but Im sure we werent going to resign him. |

That first round in 03 is nuts, even if its half as good, this will be an amazing draft - Mentalorgasm5

Its an upgrade over what we have in Stafford, that's all I'm saying. Didn't say it would solve all of our problems. |
