I'll take it a step further, If Lindy was fired last offseason, we would have 3 more points than we do right now, this whole team was lifeless earlier this year. Not just 30 and 57

Or a step further, If Vanek stays healthy we have 3 more points.

I'm defending Miller because I'm asking you why you're not blaming Enroth for the same goals you blame Miller for. Its a great double standard youre putting on the guy.

When its a SHORT SIDE goal on a 2 on 1, yes, that is the goalies fault. Defenseman takes the pass, leaves the shot to the goalie. If it was a pass across for a one timer and Enroth had to slide to attempt to make a save, no its not Enroth's fault.

If the guy sniped it over his shoulder or picked a corner, I'd be a little more forgiving. But Enroth dropped to his knee and gave him that spot shortside. It was a weak goal.

I didn't give Enroth a pass on anything. Please show me a post that I wrote today where I say Enroth wasn't the problem.

Sorry, even though I responded directly to you, its not meant directly to you, that you defended Enroth.

I'm explaining my reasoning in general as to why I'm defending Miller.

I'm of a mindset that unless its a really really bad goal, like a goal from the red line, the goal isnt fully a goalies fault. There are 5 other guys in front of the goalie that are helping him to keep it out of the net. You just simply cant expect a goalie to save everything. When you're giving up the kind of chances that the 5 guys in front of our goalies are giving up, the other team will score.

It's irritating that every goal is Millers fault lately. But when Enroth plays. Oh my god, lets trade Miller, like now, because we have Enroth and hes $5M cheaper!!!

Both goalies should be held to the same standard.
