Those are actually Leino's first 2 goals of the season..

I would not be interested. Nothing against him. I think Bryz could do some pretty great things here with a competent D core and a system that incorporates a stronger emphasis on team defense. He's absolutely brutal at shootouts though, I'll give you that.

Even Ed Snider went out of his way today to emphasize Bryz is not the problem. Too many D-breakdowns, odd man rushes and breakaways are being given up.

For Buffalo I would seriously consider sending B Schenn or Couturier plus a future 1st(not this years though) for Ehrhoff. Given this team's history I cant see us drafting Jones, Nurse or whoever. No one here seems to want to develop D men. If we end up with MacKinnon, Barkov or whoever I see it as a move that instantly makes one of those two available to deal for a D-man.

this. i thought the last 10 to 15 games last year leino was starting to prove why we signed him. maybe not to that atrocious deal but why we signed him, he has been solid since returning from injury

Straight up? Yes.

I love Simmonds though. I would really want to hold onto him. He's quickly becoming one our best wingers. I would prefer to move B Schenn. He isn't performing all that well at the wing and we have a logjam at center, where I think he will really blossom.

I think it's possible that anyone can be moved off this team but I VERY highly doubt Hodgson is traded. He's been a huge bright spot offensively for the team this year and he's destined to be our #1 center for the future.
