The Sabres are trying to move Miller. Not to make room for Luongo. That's rediculous. But to make room for David Leggio, from our Rochester club. He may be better than both of them....combined....with a splash of Brodeur.
True story - SabresGuBrath
Luongo>Miller
You have the richest owner in the history of sports, right? I'm sure he can afford him too. |

tell darcy to call nonis....... wouldn't mind having Miller on my team. Can stop the puck and doesn't have the worst contract in the NHL....... |

Leaf's are the team to beat this year why would they need luongo? - pker2theend
They're obviously stacked up front and on the blueline, just need an NHL calibre goalie and they're just as good as the Pens and Bruins. |

with the ridiculous contract your retarded GM signed him too, it would take the richest owner in the history of sports to afford that insane contract that Luongo has.
Or
We could just let Gillis look like the moron he is and buy out luongo this summer
i like option B better |

Has Reimer won a gold medal and carried a team to game 7 of the SCF yet? Seriously, anything less than a 1st, Gardiner and one of Lupul/Kessel is a STEAL for you guys. - Nucker101

Just when I thought you couldn't say anything more stupid. Maybe you guys should negotiate a trade together and then fax it to the NHL offices? |

Orrrr.....you can watch your goalies get lit up in the playoffs.
Luongo is one of the top players in the league and should be valued as such. I wouldn't trade him straight up for John Tavares. |

I would consider Komiserek for Luongo if his contract didn't end when he was 65 years old |

I would put them right up there with the blackhawks, although there goaltending has been doing good of late. |

918 save % for Reimer dumbass and a 904 % for Luongo and Reimer faces more shots and higher quality ones at that.
We aren't cup contenders this year so giving up anything for a goalie with a horrible contract is a terrible idea which is why nonis is not calling your gm and your gm is calling us also known as desperation |

I would consider you to be at least 10 years of age if you realized that Luongo is worth more than the entire Leafs roster. |

If van doesn't move someone... they are in big troubles...
http://www.capgeek.com/canucks/
seems like it would be a favour to gillis to ditch the contract....
Perhaps other teams have deduced this? |

You should never laugh at your own jokes anyways. You must laugh a lot when you see your goalies play too then.
Final offer: Luongo for Kessel. Or Luongo for Bozak and a Gardiner. I'm already sending it to the NHL office for approval, hopefully Gillis is okay with me settling for less than his actual worth. |

ya i laugh a lot when I see reimer put up 918 save percentage on a team that allows the fourth highest shots in the league and has a record that makes luongo's numbers laughable this year. That does actually make me laugh. You are right. |

Dude, ask everyone that's a non-Leaf fan and they'll tell you that you guys are the delusional ones. Luongo would be your best player, you gotta pay a price for an elite player even if he has a long ass contract. If anything, it helps the Leafs stabilize their goaltending for the next 8 years. |

at the end of the day, if there were teams lining up to take luongo's awful contract, he would of been traded by now. The end.
luongo will play for a different team after the buyout and he's signed for something realistic under the new cap structure.
Let Gillis the guy who was a slimy GM back in the day lay in his own bed he made |
