Well first we have to understand we are listening to Eklund......no more needs to be said there.But if true and there are now 5 teams kicking tires on Bobby Loo then Gillis has finally come to his senses.He is not dealing from strength at the deadline with such a albatross of a contract.And absolutely no way CS gets traded ahead of Bobby Loo.I am sure Mr.Snider and Eklund are having drinks right after game.

you do realize ballard has negative value? alberts is pretty much useless, and raymond is decent, but no where near enough value to give incentive to take on that contract

Gillis seems to think that his contract is actually a plus judging from his quotes and comments.


That's what scares me into thinking that he's gonna be stubborn with this whole situation and end up moving Schneider. Big difference between being patient and methodical, and being stubborn and unrealistic. Hopefully his asking price has lowered.

Well moving Schneider certainly seems like the more viable option if they want that much in return. But I fear Gillis might over value Schneider even more so and virtually try to double the asking price.

Uh....what? Schneider has been the best goalie in the league this past month. They would waive Luongo before they trade Schneider. If the Canucks are trading a young franchise goalie they would expect a franchise player back. So if TB and NYI are willing to part with either Stamkos or Tavares, then theres no deal to be made.
