Honestly, the leafs played a solid game.. taking nothing away from you. But seriously, you cannot be thrilled by beating a roster with it's 5 biggest stars injured. Look forward to seeing how the leafs do when Karlsson is getting 4 pt nights.

Actually todays game was tougher than the score line.. I was impressed by Ottawa a lot of fight.. they made it difficult. I know the scoreline didn't show it.. but it would've been easier with some softies like Spazza & Karlsson.. but your team has improved without them.
I was hoping for a much easier game but all the softies were out of the line-up.
Hopefully you get them back so we can sweep you in the playoffs.

odd... every stat you look at would seem to give the Habs the edge. i know most Leaf fans think the Leafs would just pound the Habs senseless and win easily but playoffs aren't about who has the better fighters. i don't think Orr/McLaren will play that huge a role in any series and i think it'll come down to which team plays better hockey. could be wrong though.

Yeah I'd basically love a McClement clone who plays defense, just a tenacious defensive guy
It's amazing though, even though they've given up a lot of goals, the penalty killing improvement vs. Ron Wilson has been unbelievable. |
