It's not a hate I already said if he comes I will cheer for him. I despise beyond words his contract. I believe he is in decline. He had a great career and still can play no doubt.

Does he have a reputation for the big meltdown. You bet he does. Is he today an improvement? Very debatable. Could he be a major mistake long term? Easily. Why make such a risky move before we even know what have and for what. Are we winning the Cup this year?

Hell if ya love Lu so much why not get him in the offseason for even cheaper??

I'll take our position right now because if the leafs go .500 over 13 remaining games and get 13 points, the 9th place Islanders would need to get 21 points over 13 games. The can't just get 20 points, because the Leafs hold a huge edge in the ROW tiebreaker. So assuming the Leafs go .500, the 9th place team would have to go 10-2-1 to jump ahead of us. Gonna have another beer, put my jersey on, it's almost 4:20

no doubt, I'm cautiously optimistic...they bounced back from their losing streak that looked like another tailspin, but they have to keep it going...this team just doesn't feel like it's gonna do a Ron Wilson style 3-8-2 crash and burn to run out the season
