The guy is locked in at 3.25 for the next 3 years. Not enough offensive upside to add him to our roster.

Some interesting options posted. I like the thought of bringing in Boyd Gordon. Coyotes have to fall a little bit further before they start letting players go though I think. I'd love to see Hartnell in Vancouver. I would definitely sell on Alberts and Raymond as suggested but not higgins and Lappy. Both can be re-signed for not too much. Cap won't be a concern once Ballard and luongo are gone (maybe even Booth).

As to the subject of luongo, I've been talking about NYI for a long time and Nino Niederreiter. I just don't know if Luongo would go to the Island again, but he's dying to start and it puts him somewhat closer to his real home.

1st position bets $50, I think awhile before raising to $150, 3rd folds. 1st goes in the tank before going all in. I call, he shows me 6-6. Just like that lost all my profits.

Oh I agree, I thought the guy I quoted meant adding a player similar to Gaustad. Gaustad has been overrated and overpaid for awhile now IMO.

Goc would be solid as a 3LC.

It's highly unlikely a trade would happen between the Canucks and Oilers. It's also unknown how badly the Oilers want to move him.

His injury history is a concern but no different than Mulhotra, Bieksa and Alberts.

I believe a player like Hemsky or another with a similar skill set and speed would really help the Canucks.
