Just a terrific write up Michael. You are undoubtedly one of the better writers on this site and your hockey knowledge and unbiased articles are always a joy to read. I've been reading your stuff since you really picked up again this season and always enjoy them.

great game by the bolts! Cooper didn't look worried behind the bench all night and you can tell he is already getting into the heads of his team. There were a few too many odd man rushes and breakaways, (from weak or drop passes no doubt) but overall they showed a lot of determination! This team is really starting to take shape and becoming a group that will contend for years to come. I think its becoming apparent that Guy was the problem.

the guys are lucky to have a 3 day break for more time with the new coach, so here's looking forward to Tuesday!

definitely not a clean hit after watching shanny's explanation vid. but 2 games? was this hit is at the same level as Lupuls was on Hedman? I'm not sure. Lupul had to stretch up to get Hedman, while D'agostini had his head down..

With Vinny out, this really puts us in a predicament on center. our prosepct depth does not extend to Center as well as some of the other positions. Pyatt on 2nd line, Johnson 3rd, and Tyrell on 4th significantly reduces our size and faceoff ability.. is this a chance for Namestnikov to get a look?
