Hey Clouts, maybe just write a few blogs suggesting trading Hall, Eberle and Nuge for guys like Ballard, Bouwmeester and Phaneuf. Just to cleanse the palette. |

If the Bruins are offering Caron for Whitney like non hockeybuzz rumors suggest, Tambellini better pull the trigger. |

Does Caron still play right wing usually? If so, hard to justify taking any of Eberle(lol), Hemsky, Yakupov or even Brown out of their respective position. |

Realistic trade? If the Oilers want to get in on J-Bo, who has 1 more year, and want to try to get him from their #1 rival? Probably something like:
Gagner, one of Paajarvi or Petry, and a 3rd
Absolutely it's an overpayment, but there are 3 reasons why:
1) Hes not just a rental, 1 more year
2) They'll have to blow other teams out of the water, because:
3) Big rivalry (imagine the Bruins trading Lucic to Montreal)
Personally, I don't think he's what the Oilers need. They have a good enough defense to just tweak it without going all-out for a guy who's been generally considered a disappointment for the $$ he makes since going to Calgary. |

I don't think we have to worry about the Flames hiring a smart GM anytime soon. |

Craig Button's brother is their head scout, suddenly the drafting makes sense. |

Trading Whitney (soon to be UFA) for a defensively responsible, young, two-way winger with size can't hurt. |

Perhaps. Id be more interested in Boychuk or Seidenberg. Not sure Chia would feel the same. |

It's one of the better pieces you'd get from the Bruins at the deadline. Boychuk and Seidenberg would be great though. |

Whitney and a 2nd? Rajala has been pretty good too. I dunno. Just think theyd be better advised getting some solid vet dmen before getting more wingers, especially young unproven ones. |

Firstly there is no way jaybo would ever waive to go to the oilers, at least this year. Even if he did flames would want way more then the oilers would ever want to give up. Not going to happen - flamesnation1
^ this. Feaster may be one of the dumbest GMs we've seen in a while, but even he's not dumb enough to do Smid unsigned + 2 2nds for JBo, even if JBO did waive. ... Or is he?
