Im taking my chances with them over Boston. Unless the Bruins surpass the Habs, then 5th would be lovely. Which I can't see the Bruins not doing by seasons end to be honest.

Must be exciting times in TO. Asides from the tools that occasionally (regularly) invade our blogs, Im rooting for them. Leafs are playing good hockey.

Boston will pass the Dirty Midgets... they are only one point behind and have a game on them...

I am hoping we can pass Ottawa... and face the Scabs in the first round...

Toronto will be fine. Not many games left and the Leafs are chasing 5th more than the 9th, 10th, 11th are chasing us.

I hope we do finish 6th though, to match up with the 3rd seed.

What's pretty cool is that if the standings more or less hold up, it's going to be a real interesting matchup no matter what. Leafs vs. Jets would be the only chance for that to happen prealignment, Leafs vs. Bruins would be a physical war and apparently there's some trade history, and Leafs vs. Habs or Ottawa speaks for itself. There have been some big surprises in the East which is shaping up to make for some real thick, rich and chocolatey matchups.

Even though the Leafs played their worst game of year against Jets, they are still the best match up. They don't score much and give up a lot of goals playing in a crappy SE division.
