Stopped reading as soon as it said..and Cox, listening to the responses though doesn`t sound bad as long as we keep Scrivens. Prefer to ride it out till the summer when more options present themselves but they will do what they feel is best.

U should have finished because talk may very well be getting serious...

I wonder was it Nonis or MLSE that had Cliff Fletcher meet the Nucks assistant GM and enter a discussion about Luongo....

Trade for a defenceman who can stay home and take care of business. Franking giving up 50 shots a game and getting a new goalie is going to do squat.

Franking Lou couldn't do it with an ALL STAR team now you think he's gonna help the leafs - frankn stunned!!!! Actually I hope the leafs do it so I can say " I told you so"

Fletcher having meeting with Nucks assistant GM about Luongo is a big story...

This may be closer to happening than most think..

I would welcome Lou.... and I'm ok with what he is being paid just not the term.

I would suspect one of our goalies would be going the other way.

I think the leafs will be legitimate contenders within 2 years and I think Lou will be a solid goalie for 4-5 yearsn, just enough time.

In an ideal world I would like a goalie in the 25-27 range.

I believe Lou will be bought out and I would wait for that moment and offer a 3-4 year deal.

The Leafs have been scouting the minor league affiliate. The Canucks are v probably willing to add a prospect in the deal or ate not discussing Loungo at all and could be looking at another player.

Thats certainly an option if they buy him out...But if he's available this summer u can bet there would be more than one team interested in his services for the next 3-4yrs..
After a buyout Luongo could actually cost more per season on a higher cap hit than he has now..

According to reports buyout isn't a option for Nuck ownership so yes they would likely give him away first and u can bet someone would take him...Nonis would..

So I was checking out the d-men point leaders.....glad so far I've been proven right

2nd place among d-men
D Ryan Suter MIN 32 3 24 27 +2 27:16 ATOI

And what's Weber doing without Suter?
13th place among d-men
D Shea Weber NAS 34 7 13 20 +3 25:45 ATOI

Oh and how's our boy Phaneuf doing? You know the one that earns $1 million less than Weber, the guy I said was better for his buck, and would likely be as popular as Weber if he had Suter beside him..... you know, the post I made that ended up on epic posts and was laughed at? All I could say was people would see.....and here's the numbers

10th place among d-men
D Dion Phaneuf TOR 35 7 14 21 -4 25:59 ATOI.

We as Leaf fans truly don't appreciate what we have, we likely never will.
