When komarov comes back they will prob rotate games (Orr and McClaren) just so they dont have to fight every other night - matt1337

then who is our fighter to intimidate guys? we need that element of toughness especially if we have to play boston. maybe vs ottawa, montreal and such we don't need them |

considering not many teams have goons other then boston, not many, but thats why boston has run over teams in the playoffs because of the intimidation. teams can live with seeing boston once or twice a month in the regular season and not worry about the intimidation, but in a 7 games series its different |
|
|
|
@DarrenDreger: Still waiting for official word on Dan DeKeyzer's decision, but teams involved in the process believe Detroit is the destination of choice. |

Fraser can fight Thornton, or if they're really that worried just sub in McClaren or Orr for a game or two (Like they did with Bissonnette last playoffs). |

i'd rather have a guy who i know can take thornton fight him instead of them getting momentum for beating fraser. plus fraser would probably go with mcdermid or possibly mcquad, also need orr or mclaren to keep lucic in check |

If Mclaren and Orr are on the ice at the same time as Lucic, Horton and Krejci, in the playoffs, you may want to consider firing Carlyle... |

What?
Habs had the mack daddy of fighting in Big George Laraque and it didn't mean crap because nobody would fight him and he kept people in check from the bench as they ran around checking everybody. |

of course, but you could send orr out with the shutdown line if lucic is running around and get orr to challenge him.

thats what happened last time, lucic got scared for the big bad boy he is |

How about acquiring Gaborik?
Would make for a mean top 6 of wingers, apparently he's being shopped, I know he's having an off year, but he's a pretty damn good player. - ThePresident
Absolutly not.
High cap hit, and a relative flake.
Man things are really a mess in NYR. The only real success this year has been Nash thriving in a real market. Aside from that, Richards has been invisible, with Gaborik dissapearing.
And what about Brad Richards, could he become buyout marterial if things don't turn around next year?
I can see more than just Torts getting das boot after this year. Still kinda think NYR needs a PMD...such as Boyle. Gaborik & Stralman for Boyle and Clowe would be something that SJ could be stupid enough to fall for. |

Scared?
Are you serious?
Also, Lucic shouldn't waste his time fighting a useless player like Orr. |

So if by a stroke of luck, the Leafs and Habs end up in the 4-5 slot in the east, what do you think the minimum ticket price would be for a game in Toronto?
I'd say nosebleeds would run in the 250-300 range through scalpers.
A guy I know can get playoff seats through family, and the face value of mid-greens is around 125$ a seat, and they're willing to part with a ticket for upwards of 200 a seat.
Yet I wonder if the Habs will drive the price up |
