Finally someone agrees with me on Reimer. I also agree that Scrivens has been great too. We are set with Reimer as the #1. If Scrivens had failed as his backup than for sure Nonis would bring a veteran BACKUP. So that confirms that Lu will not be a Leaf. Reimer has solidified the #1 job & Scrivens has solidified the #2 job. - GCHonda

It'll all be 4th liners this year - AngryWhiteMale
YES my bad, I fell for the hype. Yeah I agree, with the price for all the decent players available being too high, it will be a day dominated by 4th liners. |

Hey Gluckster. When is the last time a Leafs team had this much character? The last time was when the Leafs had Pat Quinn running the team. |

Personally, Reims has not proven to be the #1 over Scrivens. Just my opinion of course but, I would sure as hell hope they don`t make the same mistake with Scrivens like they did with Rask. |

But why over pay for Lu, Miller, Halak & whatever other decent goalie that may be available Apr 3? C'mon folks, listen I love the Leafs as much as any Leaf fan but realistically, they aren't close yet to a cup. Stay the course, develop with the youngsters including Reimer & Scrivens. |

How about acquiring Gaborik?
Would make for a mean top 6 of wingers, apparently he's being shopped, I know he's having an off year, but he's a pretty damn good player. |

I think for the Leafs development at this point, Reimer & Scrivens are giving us fine goaltending. Sh*t were 6th in the East & 9th best overall. What the fuk is the problem, everyone questioning the goaltending? We aint winning the cup this year so everone take a chill pill. |

The teams win-loss record with Reimer in net as opposed to Scrivens totally proves he's the number #1. Scrivens is a better save maker and that's about it. He let's in horrible goals at the worst time, he can't handle the puck, he doesn't read the game well and he doesn't bring out the best from the guys playing infront of him like Reimer does. I don't understand why Leaf fans don't think Reimers capable or when healthy has proven to be a #1.

FINALLY some sanity. Thanks for giving my fingers a break. I'm getting tired of having to defend Reimer & Scrivens. |

Why do you want to deplete the depth the Leafs are starting to build up for him? Continue the development until they are close then pull the trigger. |

Agreed. Reimer is still a kid, he will develop into a great goalie within the next couple years. Scrivens hit his plateau in my opinion and he's older than reimer. Hang onto what we have for acquiring someone like Duchene or Top 4 Dman.

Whatever happens we better not go for any rental deals AT ALL. This isn't a year to run at anything. Stand with what we got, make some minor moves if need be and go from there. |
