Sorry to say but nothing good is going to happen within the next two years. An honest prediction of the Sabres being a competing team is probably 3 years away. They tried adding pieces around the current core and what good has that done?

I am not suggesting a band aid but getting players in for your best players only makes sense. Look how quickly Montreal turned it around.... that is what i want.

Nope.

It was damage to the MCL and ACL. I believe they never actually came out and said completely torn. I think they just kept saying "damage" .
I could be wrong but still a great recovery for a player I want to see in a Sabres uniform for a long time to come.

With the new alignment and how difficult it will be I'll be happy if they make the playoffs in 5 years.
