Yeah he is one of the supertrolls, too much of a coward to list a team or location that way he can just trash whichever team and city he wants, without getting it back in return. Quite classy actually. - ruttager17

I would accept Hall, Eberle, or your 1st and Magnus. Myers with an actual NHL coach and some discipline is a stud |

yeah. ive heard a few buffalo fans say this when i threw it out on your boards.
risky from both sides.
a possible top 5 pick,
or it could be as low as 15ish. (if i had to guess, id say somewhere between 7-10 most likely)
and on the flip side it could be a regressing dman with an expensive, long term contract.
or it could be a young franchise dman signed long term
tough one |

Katz, I could care less about the guy, I don't shop at his drug outlets!!
As for Dubynk, if you think he's a #1 goalie, fine that's your opinion, i'm here to tell you he hasn't proven nothing yet, just like the entire team.
Maybe they will in the future but until they acquire big wingers, all that skill alone isn't going to win you a championship. - newmy
see you changed your point. You said if EDM wants to win they need to address their goaltending and D, now it's big wingers?
make up your mind!
also, if Dubnyk "hasn't proved nothing", does that mean he has proved everything lol |

I personally want to keep him, but he's got some issues putting his game together, one night he's the best player on the ice, the other he's lost. He needs a good coach |

no chance we trade either hall or ebs.
and they way mags is finally progressing i doubt hed be added in.
a first and a good d prospect. marincin?
myers could be a franchise dman. and the tools he posseses with that size dont come around very often.
but just for argument sake, i dont think anybody in buffalo is positive he will for sure be what we originally thought. otherwise, u wouldnt even be having this discussion |

I honestly thought that honor would have gone to the clippers, obviously with the leafs as a very close second. |

Well then this would be a deal NOT at the deadline.
I would like to think management would wait to see exactly where that pick is before pulling that trigger.
Hey, if it's 11-14 - then I think they have to get a bite to eat.
EDIT: To be clear, I mean the 1st and Magnus. |

Considering the Sabres current situation, if we have the opportunity to have 2 top 10 picks + a decent prospect, It would be hard to pass up. It gives us the possibility of moving into the top 3. |

id be extremely hesitant, and hate to give him up.
hes finally coming around. i thought he was one of our best again last night. garbage goal. chippin it deep and chasing. i was really enjoying what he was doing.
but if they stood firm and said its a done deal with that package, id strongly consider it. |

Understandable, I just think for Edmonton to pull the trigger on Paajarvi and the first---and mostly with the first---is getting into Burke territory.
As much as I don't want to believe it. That pick could be top 5/6/7.
I have time for Myers but that's getting too risky.
And I'll readily admit the irony here that I/we as Oiler fans complain about Tambellini's dithering but still feel sheepish about some of these risks.
If you want that deal at the deadline it's gotta be Myers + another NHL'er. |

Yes to all. Just figure with variations of this specific arm-chairing - Tambellini has to consider it.
I know mano - I'm loving Paajarvi right now. He is becoming a real nice X-factor. |

I see leafs do well for a season (shortened one at that) and they go in to other blogs to gloat.
Strange how teams that are always contenders PIT, NYR, BOS, CHI, DET, SJ, don't have fans that come to these blogs and brag.
Might it be that many leafs fans are pathetic?
likely |
