Is it bad that in a lot of ways I'm not even remotely excited about going on Saturday?

Darcy pretty much said they are willing to trade Vets for younger NHLers
And there's teams (like Florida) that haven't moved guys yet, but are likely to do so... Just bc we haven't made a move yet doesn't mean we won't... There's still like 5 days

You should see a few goals...have a couple cold beverages....make fun of some intoxicated fans making fools of themselves around you....you can make the most of it!

Last game I went to was the Winnipeg game and had some fan in front of me yell at me to stop being so negative when I asked why the coach still had a job. Funny how he ended up losing his job the next day.

who the hell is belittling anyone? he had his opinion, i have mine, we dont agree. i asked a question, he didnt answer it. I was giving a reasoning for my opinion, he didnt want to partake in the conversation at that point and now you're defending someone because they did not want to partake in that conversation.

its not easy! i tried that with football a while back. told myself i was a giants fan the year they got eli manning, rooted for them all the time

yeah, if some people could read, understand what a question is, then give an answer that ACTUALLY has to do with the question, these conversations would be a lot easier.

I split seasons, so I get to go to about half of the games every year. I ended up with all of the tickets during the stretch in February where they were home for almost 2 weeks. They played terribly during that stretch. To the tune of the coach getting fired. It makes it hard to want to go watch again.

They're actually 10th in the league as far as the Cap goes.

I think Darcy does a really good job of acquiring talent, but not so good a job of putting together a "team"
Not sure if that makes sense, but what I mean are moves like letting McKee go & signing Spacek
Was Spacek a good defenseman? Yes
But we lost a physical shot blocker & our overall defense suffered for it

Looking at our defense of the future...
Ehrhoff-Myers
McNabb-Pysyk
McCabe-Leduc
No physical presence at all except McNabb
We all see how bad it is now w our "soft" defense

If they did things right - you would at least get to watch the kids play at this point and watch guys either develop into something or flame-out - that is what makes it worse...old regime...old players just hanging on to their last days...
