It's just my opinion. But if Darcy and Pegula are having full day meetings I'd imagine it's a change in the direction of the franchise, which involves the big 3.

Bunch of meaningless third liners for a top 4 d man. Burke did fine there.

Kessel trade was aggressive and didnt play out like he wanted. But at least he got a 35 goal scorer out of it.

As the Leafs continue to improve it will be with a majority of Burke players, including the top defenseman that have yet to play for them.

Trade Myers for Bogosian was first.

Then trade youth to get more veteran scoring talent.

Then This core group is good enough to get it done, they have proved it.

Then Stafford has never gotten a chance, put him on the first line.

Then, the fans dont know how to build a winning team, with the trade the big 3 talk.
