I think EDM is a perfect fit for Myers. They are desperate for talent on defense. They have a boatload of young forwards. I would do Hall or Eberle. Maybe another prospect or 2nd round pick from them.

read something recently where teams that traded a few weeks prior to deadline had a much higher success rate than those that waited till deadline day. look at pittsburgh, acted quickly and decisively. i just think Darcy waits too long. i get the family thing but that is putting the 'i' before the team

Brian Burke always said he wanted deadline day to be one of the quietest days for him because of the cost of doing business.

I think RR hates the roster and certain players. You cannot plays favorites in the big boy league. Porter coughed up the puck for the tying 3rd goal......no benching for him?

He sucks because he get's paid too much. He hasn't sucked besides this year and for a portion of last year, he just hasn't lived up to the hype from his rookie year. If you don't think he's incredibly talented your crazy, it's just a jumbled mess right now that needs some serious fixing

Which is why it's hard to say someone is just average or sucks when he has proven he can be a force. Average players are Sulzer or Weber, Myers is a young guy who either doesn't want to be great or is having trouble figuring it out

Staff to MIN for Zucker...add picks where it’s necessary and BUF would have to take back some kind of salary.
Miller to STL for Schwartz & 2nd...If BUF needs to take a goalie back, fine, Elliott has one year left at 1.8M.
Ott to CHI for Saad or Teravainen
Pom & Regehr to LA for Toffoli & Bernier
Vanek to NJ for Matteau & 1st
I also like Palmieri in ANA. Gives BUF a huge pool of NHL prospects, sign some Vetrens in the offseason. Flame away and call me stupid.
