Do we want senators to win or the rangers?
- yea-ok-buddy

Unfortunately, the Sens. It keeps the Rangers further behind us. Now wouldn't it be grand, that a Rangers team that played under their skill level, got to play the almighty Penguins in the first round. Even if they get to 7, they might take Boston out. Lets just stay right here in 6th and take the Jets. It's the best place to be, right now. Habs and Sens will kill each other, by stabbing each other is the ass. It's good, right where we are.

I was thinking this at the beginning of the game, Leafs SHOULDN'T trade Bozak. He's become an essential part of our team. MacArthur if the price is right I would deal him.

Well, all i know is Phaneuf is poop. Lupul is overpaid and for far too long. McClement is definately the non sexy non factor of a signing we thought he would be. Kessel never passes and is selfish, Kadri's a bust, should probably include him in most trade proposals. Our AHL Dmen are a crap. We should deffo trade Kulemin cos he will never score 30 again. WHo cares if he can defend.

That's about all i know.

- walshyleafsfan

Dont ruin a blown two goal lead, horrible five hole goal by reimer, good comeback, great goal by Lupul Leafs win with the above crap.

I would say Sens.. cause it puts the Rangers further out of touch... we can catch Sens on the weekend...

I'd be fine with Ottawa finishing ahead of us anyway. 6th is a great place to finish.

Phaneuf is a (frank)ing beast I fail to see how people dont see that. He plays with a bunch of asshats and Franson.
- yea-ok-buddy

The funny thing is listening to people insist that Aulie, the guy who plays #6 minutes on the worst defense in the NHL, made Phaneuf better.

Has anyone stopped to consider that maybe - just maybe - it was the #1 defenseman making the career #6 look good and not the other way around?

In case anyone was wondering...

Bozak had 3 points and was +4 tonight. Somebody smells a new contract, I think.

- Leeman4Gilmour

as long as he smells it all the way through the playoffs im ok with it

i'm not the biggest supporter, and i'll admit.. his play lately has been solid. positioning is improved, his coverage has been well, he's not getting walked around on breaks.. he's even hitting the net.

he might be playing his best hockey as a leaf the last 5-10 games.

Yep. Would love to draw a Carolina team without Cam Ward in the first round.

Or the Jets. Yeah, their fans would be insane, but I still don't think that roster has the goods to deliver.

There's a reason we're 4 points ahead of them.

Sens for me. They're getting in. I've resigned myself to that fact.

The Rangers missing would be priceless.

- Leeman4Gilmour

Still think they are too good to miss the playoffs but YES I'd love to see it.

im pretty confident boston wins the northeast.

theres no chance montreal holds off boston on their heals for another 14 games.

especially once boston starts to load up in response to pittsburgh.

i'm praying for 4th.. and a first round matchup with the sens. home ice advantage.

That would be an awesome series too. In the first round though, I'd be more comfortable playing against a team like Winnipeg (another young team new to the playoffs) than Carey Price.

Islanders win, in a shootout. They could be tied with the Rangers, for the last playoff spot.

90% of Leafs fans need to realize that though. I feel like im trying to do a mormon mission

Do I need to continue to point out Larry Murphy if the fans hate them it probably means they are good.

Careful what you wish for.
Reimer vs Price.....not something I want to see.
Reimer vs Anderson.......not good either

Probably lose to both.

well it would most likely be against the habs not the sens.,, unless your expecting montreal to fall from first in the division to 4th

Fourth would be tough. With Boston and Montreal as far ahead of the Leafs as they are, there probably just aren't enough games left.

Agreed. They have a game in hand, on the Habs. Once they get back their two injured defencemen, they'll overtake the Habs. Let the Habs and Hens kill each other. We'll take the Jets out in 6 and then take the leftovers from that series. Something tells me, that either the Rangers or Devils have an upset, in round 1.
