Totally agree with this. You'll always have a gap between rich and poor. The goal imo should be raising the poor as much as you can without hampering competition and innovation.
To date, capitalism is the only system to come close to doing this. - Pen15
True, and there should always be a gap. We as a people perform at our best when we have something to strive towards, and communism goes a long way towards eliminating that.
That being said, the gap is WAY too large. |

That's not true at all. Capitalism spawns competition and innovation that only helps to expand a society. What has hampered it is the meddling of government agenda's through corporate and consumer taxation. If left to it's own accord, the functions of supply and demand would actually enhance every society (not just the west). - Pen15
Capitalism is based on supply and demand. For everybody to have a fair share of the pie, therefore ending poverty and poor nations, that demand would have to skyrocket to limits we've never seen or something that will never happen.
When we look at the level of demand today, it is basically who wants to supply that demand for the cheapest labor available. An American wants to do this job but he wants to make 15 dollars an hour to do it. The chinese worker comes in and says I'll do it for .50 cents an hour.
That is not competition. That is extortion and it is why capitalism is called the race to the bottom. Who will get there first.
The only people who benefit from capitalism are those who control large companies.

It has that mode, also with many others... something Gluckstein didn't tell you or anyone else. - Tee-Dot
If you want those "awesome" effects, just download instagram on your smartphone. Costs you nothing.
Gimmicky things like that should never, ever, ever, ever be part of your buying decision for your camera. |

Noobs... don't get that you can do all that after you take the picture... just get a clean one to start... then you can non-destructively change it to your hearts content...

Yup.
In communism, a doctor and a janitor get rewarded the same.
If you look at Cuba, you see a great example of communism's downfall.
The most lucrative jobs are in the tourism industry, because they get tips that increase their salary ten-fold.
A bar tender in a resort winds up with more wealth than a (frank)ing doctor. |

I think I actually have the 30, not the 50. Haven't used it in a while
But I definitely prefer it to the Nikon. |

I bought it as we were leaving for a road trip to Mirtle Beach for boys golfing week spring 2001.
had it flying out the back of the cart all week - during the Jersey series
awesome trip, and brought all the Canadians out wherever we went.
left it behind when we moved a few years ago... was so pissed when I realized it |

Yeah, Ricky started poopting the bed once he got his new contract. Now he can't throw strikes if his life depended on it. Happ was on a mission to get a starting position this year, and he did a great job in doing so. I'm excited to watch Johnson, he's been throwing smoke all spring. |
