He wasn't the main factor in last year's poopty season, and he isn't a main factor in this year's division lead. Until now, he has been as good as the team in front of him. I know he's only 25 and that he'll likely get better, but saying that right now we can find nothing wrong in his play is ludicrous. - _nay_
Why even look is what I'm saying. Who cares? See what he does in the playoffs. |

So we can blame the dmen, the coaches, the GM and the city, but not the goalie? - _nay_
We can blame him for his mistakes indeed, but many fans do so like if he has no qualities. |

Every player can improve on his play, especially goaltenders. But only in Montreal do goalies go from being heros to zeros in a flash. Habs fans are similar to women where you can do everything for them but the moment you mess up you've NEVER done any good. Emotions are a beautiful thing. - God_then_kovy
Who said Price was no good and the habs should trade him?
Also, did you look at the 1st goal again? Does he duck the puck or not? |

Love how we go from 15th to 2nd and we're still looking for problems. - Scabeh
know what i mean....its like we can't just be happy this is alreay FAR beyond anyone's expectation, its not to say we should just be satisfied, but no need to go looking so damn hard for problems |

Have I said that he's a zero, that he's never done any good? Nope. He has been mostly good, sometimes very good, but rarely great. Emotions have nothing to do with that. |

Price doesn't inspire confidence in the fan base (at least not to all), because he doesn't have Roy's fire/drive or Dryden's effectiveness/calm... he's sort of in between and you never know when he'll be too motivated and try to do too much or too calm and look lackadaisical...
It seems that when he's on, he's on...but he can lose it at anytime...but when he's off, he's really off and he's not getting it back in that game...

anyone catch Marchand all sadface about the embellishment last night?
PK forced Marchand's stick into his face.
also Armstrong overreacted when Chara hit him in the face.
i didn't realize any of that until Marchand pointed it out.
i hope the NHL has a good long look at the tape from that game and hands out some suspensions in Montreal. |
